Ann Martin is a favorite author for school aged children. In this new series, we meet the town of Camden Falls and the newest move-ins, Flora and Ruby. The two sisters have come to live with their grandma after a tragic accident that took their parents. They will come to enjoy the residents of their new community, draw closer to their grandma, make friendships, and learn a little more about their own mom’s childhood. After all, she once lived in the very house and community they now live in.
Project of the Month: One of Etta’s most popular craft kits yet! When the sisters were going through their healing process, they decided to make bears for kids in crisis. This project allows you to make your own bear, by stuffing your bear with fluff, zipping it up tight in the back and tying on the bow. You can keep the bear for yourself, give it to a friend, or donate to a local organization that helps kids in crisis. |
