This is a great book if you like books with more description and a well-developed plot. Meet Miri, a mountain girl from Mount Eskel. When Miri and her peers go to study at the Princess Academy, they are challenged to overcome their mountain ways and prepare themselves for a possible future with the Prince himself. A prophesy is made that the Prince’s future bride will come from the Mountain. This is not really a book about becoming a princess as much as it is about becoming more of your true self. When the girls learn to read and write a whole new world is opened to them. Many lives are changed. This book is a little over 300 pages.
